August, 10th, 2013, I found out my paranormal novel,
Love’s Prophecy won first place honorable mention in the 2012 RONE Awards in
Vegas.
To say I’m thrilled—and a little shocked—is a
massive understatement. When I received the news, I went numb. Then I jumped up
and quietly screamed to myself—didn’t want to wake up my husband and sons.
Took awhile before my hands stopped shaking. Once
they did, I informed fellow writers and friends of this wonderful news. The
congratulations poured in.
August 10th, 2013 was one of the happiest days of my
life.
